Our Mission

As stated in our 1023-EZ to the IRS with very limited space:

'We are providing vaccine clinics, medication, nutrition and pet transportation free within our local tribal community. Education about spread, symptoms and prevention of common animal diseases. Supporting locally operating rescues where needed.'

But there is more to it!

We are dedicated to close gaps if it comes to resources, information, funding and boots & eyes on the ground. It shall be a network of community members, rescues, and supporters for funds or muscle.

We will evolve and learn, we will listen and see!

To the needs and situations within the communities & their animals.

Communication & collaboration is everything!

How to help

We'd be lying if we claimed it's not about the money.

It is! Let's name it!

The average intake per year is between 200 and 250 dogs per local rescue here in the area. The biggest factor are the vet bills, next to medication and food. Then transportation. Emergency pick ups, food runs,  vaccine runs, adoption events, fundraiser. Did we mentioned the utility bills? Heating the shelters outside the regular home through 6 month of Montana winter so cats and dogs stay warm until adopted.

The next hurdle are foster homes. Overnight stays, people that can transport. Volunteers helping 'in the field' with the clinics and food runs. People transporting donated food to where it will be distributed.

The list is endless!

So, if you want to help simply let us know what you can offer.

Nothing is too little! Sometimes a single overnight stay is needed for a puppy so the rescue can get prepared, or a bag of food or a puppy needs an Uber.

Simply sent an email to board@goodluckroad.org and introduce yourself.

We'll add you to the team, and you can say 'yes' or 'next time, can't right now'
